What can we say. We were dumbstruck by this fantastic candidate video. Sure we've all seen statistics showing that recruiters are using social media to assess candidates. We've all read the headlines about social media profiles putting great candidates out of the running for a job.
What we weren't ready for was how early in the process this is happening - or indeed how many recruiters are on board.
In short, if you leave tidying up your social media profiles until after you've been called for interview, that's going to cost you a ton of interviews. While you might assume that recruiters check your profiles as you progress along the interview process, most candidates would be surprised to hear many recruiters are assessing them the moment your resume lands in their inbox.
