It’s cold -- really cold -- and if you’re feeling the winter blues, so are your employees. They’re less motivated to exercise, eat well, and take care of their health. They’re sluggish, sickly, and less engaged.

Your employees need your help to get their health back on track -- they just need a little motivation. This infographic -- compiled by Limeade, a corporate wellness technology company that measurably improves employee health, well-being and performance -- serves as a guide to support healthy habits this winter.

Some highlights include:

  • The most popular months for employees to call in sick are January and February.
  • In the winter, adults are 1.18 times as likely to sit for long periods of time than they are in the summer.
  • 66% of office workers think the average company loses $100,000 or more to the flu every year.
  • Adults who exercise regularly are 43% less likely to contract upper respiratory infections in the winter.
