I really like the following Content Marketing Matrix, when looked at with your recruitment marketing hat on. How to position ourselves on this matrix is something we're thinking about - and experimenting with - here at Social-Hire.com

But what about you?

What is fascinating when you start to consider the options here (click on the graphic to enlarge) is that the right mix will be quite different depending on a number of factors, not least the brand you're recruiting for and how established it is / how it is already perceived in the candidate market.

Should you be:

  • Running Career Webinars?
  • Launching Competitions?
  • Filming videos?
  • Participating in forums?
  • Publishing infographics?

The answer depends on whether your greatest need is to educate candidates about your company; to inspire them to want to join; to convince them yours is the right business for them; or to entertain as a means of reaching out to new prospective candidates.

I hope this provides some great food for thought as you plan out your recruitment marketing strategy for the remainder of this year.
