Organizations are searching for the best talent to fill their open positions. Those top talents are out there, but some companies have trouble retaining them because of this missed step.

One-on-one meetings help employees connect with leaders and the company’s mission. It’s not only important to host these meetings, but also to make sure employee needs are met. Quantum Workplace -- a company with an employee feedback platform designed to make work better each day -- created the infographic below, looking closer at the steps to produce a healthier one-on-one experience.

Their infographic below shows leaders how to make the most out of one-on-one meetings. Some highlights include:

  • 85.7% of highly engaged organizations conduct one-on-one meetings between managers and employees.
  • Nearly one in four companies don’t hold one-on-one meetings.
  • Only 24% of employees are satisfied with how their manager communicates the organization’s goals and strategies.
  • People respond more positively to and are more willing to cooperate with someone who practices active listening.

Check out the full infographic to see what ingredients you’re missing to accomplish successful one-on-one meetings!
